Open Water Swimming Tasmania

Here Comes the Sun has become a beloved tradition for our open water swimming community. It's an annual community swim held at Kingston Beach, south of Hobart, on the first Sunday in October to celebrate the return of daylight saving. 

As the days grow longer and the water (slowly!) begins to warm, swim groups from around the state gather to welcome the new season with a refreshing dip or swim, followed by coffee and conversation on the beach. 

The event is open to anyone who enjoys open water swimming or dipping and is a relaxed and social way to mark the beginning of another Tasmanian summer swimming season.
